Los TRI-O regresan al Latin Grammy con “Orgánico”
LA AGRUPACIÓN COLOMBIANA COMPITE POR MEJOR ÁLBUM TROPICAL TRADICIONAL CON UNA PRODUCCIÓN ACÚSTICA DE SIETE CANCIONES QUE VUELVE A LA ESENCIA DEL BOLERO Y ABRE UN NUEVO CAPÍTULO EN UNA TRAYECTORIA DE MÁS DE DOS DÉCADAS.
Miami, FL – Los Tri-O regresan al Latin GRAMMY con una nominación por Orgánico en la categoría Mejor Álbum Tropical Tradicional. El reconocimiento encuentra a la agrupación colombiana volviendo precisamente al sonido que ha definido buena parte de su historia: tres voces, guitarras, requinto y una manera de interpretar el bolero que privilegia la armonía y la ejecución acústica.
Lanzado el pasado 10 de abril y grabado en Colombia, Orgánico reúne siete canciones bajo la producción de Jhon H. Ubaque “Dartagnan”, colaborador de Los Tri-O desde sus primeros años. El álbum pone en primer plano las voces de Esteban Herrera “Esteban Louis”, Manuel Correa “Manú” y Juan Manuel Enríquez, acompañadas por requinto, guitarras, contrabajo y una percusión mínima, retomando una dinámica de interpretación conjunta centrada en las armonías vocales y el sonido acústico.
El repertorio incluye clásicos como “Amnesia”, “Sabor a Mí”, “Locura Mía”, “Que Nadie Sepa Mi Sufrir” y “No Me Queda Más”, además de una versión en guaracha de “Dile Que Por Mí No Tema”. A ellos se suma “Y Si Decides (Por Ahí Oí)”, tema inédito escrito por Esteban Louis, que aporta una composición propia a un proyecto que revisita distintas piezas del cancionero romántico latinoamericano.
La nominación suma un nuevo capítulo a la relación de Los Tri-O con el Latin GRAMMY. En 2004, la agrupación fue nominada a Mejor Álbum Vocal Pop Dúo o Grupo por Canciones del Alma de Marco Antonio Solís y, dos años más tarde, Serenata en San Juan, su proyecto junto a Melina León, compitió en Mejor Álbum Tropical Tradicional, la misma categoría a la que ahora regresan con Orgánico.
Con una trayectoria iniciada a finales de los años noventa, su propuesta de bolero llevó al trío a escenarios y mercados internacionales. En ese recorrido también trabajaron con figuras fundamentales de la música latina como Juan Gabriel, con quien grabaron en Siempre en Mi Mente, y Armando Manzanero, cuya obra protagonizó el álbum Parece Que Fue Ayer y quien también participó en la producción, consolidando una trayectoria que convirtió al trío en uno de los nombres colombianos más visibles de la música romántica de aquellos años.
La 27.a Entrega Anual del Latin GRAMMY se celebrará el próximo 12 de noviembre en el MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas, donde se conocerán los ganadores de esta edición.

Miami, FL – Los Tri-O return to the Latin GRAMMY with a nomination for Orgánico in the Best Traditional Tropical Album category. The recognition finds the Colombian group returning to the sound that has defined much of its history: three voices, guitars, requinto, and an approach to bolero that places harmony and acoustic performance at the forefront.
Released on April 10 and recorded in Colombia, Orgánico features seven songs produced by Jhon H. Ubaque “Dartagnan,” a collaborator of Los Tri-O since their early years. The album places the voices of Esteban Herrera “Esteban Louis,” Manuel Correa “Manú” and Juan Manuel Enríquez front and center, accompanied by requinto, guitars, double bass and minimal percussion, returning to a collective performance dynamic centered on vocal harmonies and an acoustic sound.
The repertoire includes classics such as “Amnesia,” “Sabor a Mí,” “Locura Mía,” “Que Nadie Sepa Mi Sufrir” and “No Me Queda Más,” as well as a guaracha version of “Dile Que Por Mí No Tema.” Also included is “Y Si Decides (Por Ahí Oí),” an original song written by Esteban Louis, adding a new composition to a project that revisits different pieces from the Latin American romantic songbook.
The nomination adds a new chapter to Los Tri-O’s history with the Latin GRAMMY. In 2004, the group was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, Duo or Group for Canciones del Alma de Marco Antonio Solís, and two years later, Serenata en San Juan, their project with Melina León, competed for Best Traditional Tropical Album, the same category to which they now return with Orgánico. With a career that began in the late 1990s, their bolero-driven sound took the trio to international stages and markets.
Along the way, they also worked with foundational figures in Latin music such as Juan Gabriel, with whom they recorded on Siempre en Mi Mente, and Armando Manzanero, whose work was at the heart of the album Parece Que Fue Ayer and who also participated in the production, further cementing a career that made the trio one of the most visible Colombian names in romantic music during that era.
The 27th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will take place on November 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where the winners of this year’s edition will be announced.
