Soffia Philo continúa demostrando por qué es la nueva promesa de la música rioplatense. La cantante uruguaya lanzó “No lo sabe” en colaboración con Noel Schajris (de Sin Bandera): una versión en clave rock-soul de un tema que ya había presentado en sus redes sociales, logrando gran repercusión, con más de 3 millones de reproducciones. Con esta canción, Soffia completa su primer EP de cinco temas, Nivel 1, y se prepara para avanzar con su álbum debut. Producida por Polska, ya está disponible en todas las plataformas.
La historia de “No lo sabe” comenzó con un video viral. Alguien le preguntó “¿Cómo estás?” y Soffia contestó con la verdad cruda, sin filtro, contándole al mundo que sentía la necesidad de huir de sí misma. Tuvo, entonces, una conversación con Dios que le inspiró esta canción. Le preguntó cómo salir de ahí, pero la única respuesta fue que nadie lo sabe, que solo andando se sobrevive. Que hay finales que no cierran y hay que aprender a vivir con eso. El video acumuló más de 3 millones de reproducciones, su público se sintió reflejado. Noel Schajris (de Sin Bandera, dúo que conforma con el mexicano Leonel García) también se vio identificado y le escribió a Soffia directamente. Tuvieron una primera llamada para conocerse y, poco después, ella viajó a Colombia, donde Noel daba un show, para grabar la canción juntos en estudio y filmar el video. “Fue una experiencia reveladora que me dio fuerzas para seguir adelante y darme cuenta de que el esfuerzo está valiendo la pena”, cuenta Soffia.
Noel agrega sobre esta unión: “Es muy difícil encontrar grandes cantantes que también sean grandes raperas: en Soffia encontré esa combinación demoledora y la conocí con esta canción, así que es un placer enorme poder ser parte. Ojalá sea la primera de muchas canciones juntos”. Con una impronta ligada al rap y al hip hop, a través de la honestidad de sus letras y su interpretación versátil, Soffia sigue afianzando su comunidad. Con más de un millón de seguidores en su redes, sus videos acumulan millones de reproducciones. “Quiero transmitir un mensaje con mi música. Soffia Philo es una artista uruguaya de 23 años, nacida en el barrio del Cerro de Montevideo. A los 14 años comenzó su camino en la música, influenciada por un entorno familiar atravesado por el arte: su padre también es cantante y compositor. Impulsada por su familia, empezó a subir videos interpretando canciones de distintos géneros en redes sociales.

The Uruguayan singer has released “No lo sabe” featuring Noel Schajris (of Sin Bandera), a rock-soul rendition of a song she had previously shared on her social media, where it quickly gained traction with more than 3 million views. With this release, Soffia completes her debut five-track EP, Nivel 1 (Level 1), and prepares to move forward with her first full-length album. The story behind “No lo sabe” began with a viral video. Someone asked Soffia, “How are you?” and she answered with raw, unfiltered honesty, telling the world she felt the need to run away from herself. That moment led to a conversation with God that inspired the song. She asked Him how to get out of that place, but the only answer she received was that no one knows—that the only way to survive is to keep walking. That some endings never truly find closure, and we have to learn to live with that. The video amassed more than 3 million views, resonating deeply with her audience. Noel Schajris (of Sin Bandera, the duo he shares with Mexican singer Leonel García) also connected with the song and reached out to Soffia directly.
