Siudy Garrido celebra 25 años de arte y pasión con su espectáculo ALIVE en el Adrienne Arsht Center de Miami
Miami, FL – 30 de octubre del 2025 – Tras conquistar con entradas agotadas en el David Geffen Hall del Lincoln Center de Nueva York, la bailaora y coreógrafa Siudy Garrido regresa a su hogar, Miami, para presentar su maravilloso espectáculo titulado ALIVE en el Adrienne Arsht Center, antes de continuar a Madrid, España.
El Adrienne Arsht Center, que ha sido su hogar artístico por más de 12 años y del que Siudy Garrido es artista asociada cultural desde 2019, será el escenario donde esta celebración cobrará vida, uniendo la fuerza del flamenco con el pulso contemporáneo que caracteriza su estilo.
ALIVE reúne lo más emblemático de los 25 años de historia de Siudy Flamenco Company, fusionando la sabiduría y el fuego de las bailarinas veteranas, con más de dos décadas de trayectoria, y la energía vibrante de la nueva generación de Miami. En total, más de 30 artistas en escena, entre músicos y bailarinas, darán vida a un viaje escénico que honra la evolución del arte flamenco desde la mirada de una creadora visionaria.
Entre los invitados especiales destacan el virtuoso bailaor José Manuel Álvarez y el bailarín y actor George Akram, quienes aportarán su sello único de fuerza y sensibilidad a esta celebración. Además, se estrenará una pieza inédita con la participación de 22 bailarinas, coreografía de José Manuel Álvarez, que promete envolver al público en un torbellino de movimiento, líneas contemporáneas y una visión vanguardista del flamenco actual.
El espectáculo rendirá también un sentido homenaje al Maestro compositor y guitarrista José Luis de La Paz, quien fuera compositor y director musical de Siudy Flamenco por 12 años y falleció a principios de este año. Su legado resonará en fragmentos musicales que evocan su alma, su arte y su vínculo eterno con la compañía.
La banda musical, compuesta por ocho talentosos músicos, estará bajo la dirección del maestro y compositor Juan Parrilla, tejiendo un universo sonoro que acompañará cada paso, cada respiración y cada emoción sobre el escenario.
ALIVE es más que un espectáculo: es una celebración de vida, de arte y de evolución. Una noche en la que el flamenco se renueva y la voz creativa de Siudy Garrido se eleva para reafirmar su lugar como una de las artistas más importantes e innovadoras del flamenco contemporáneo.

Siudy Garrido es una bailaora, coreógrafa y directora artística venezolana, reconocida por su visión pionera en el mundo del flamenco en América. Desde 2015, dirige Siudy Flamenco Dance Theater en Miami. Es ganadora del Miami Dance Choreography Award, del Premio Nacional de Danza de Venezuela y ha sido nominada a los Latin Grammy® y a los Drama Desk Awards.
Garrido se ha presentado en algunos de los escenarios más prestigiosos del mundo, aportando una perspectiva fresca y global a un arte históricamente dominado por artistas españoles. Es conocida por sus colaboraciones con Gustavo Dudamel, quien le encargó la coreografía completa del ballet emblemático El Amor Brujo con la LA Phil.

Miami, FL – October 30, 2025 – After selling out the David Geffen Hall at New York’s Lincoln Center, dancer and choreographer Siudy Garrido returns home to Miamito present her stunning show ALIVE at the Adrienne Arsht Center, before continuing on to Madrid, Spain.
The Adrienne Arsht Center, which has been her artistic home for over 12 years and where she has been a cultural associate artist since 2019, will host this special celebration that blends the power of flamenco with the contemporary pulse that defines her style.
ALIVE brings together the most emblematic works from the 25-year history of the Siudy Flamenco Company, fusing the wisdom and fire of veteran dancers—many with over two decades of experience—with the vibrant energy of Miami’s new generation. More than 30 performers, including musicians and dancers, will take the stage in a scenic journey that honors the evolution of flamenco through the lens of a visionary creator.

The live band, composed of eight talented musicians, will be led by acclaimed composer and maestro Juan Parrilla, crafting a rich soundscape to accompany every step, every breath, and every emotion on stage. | About Siudy Garrido Siudy Garrido is a Venezuelan flamenco dancer, choreographer, and artistic director renowned for her pioneering vision in bringing flamenco to the Americas. Since 2015, she has led the Siudy Flamenco Dance Theater in Miami. She is a recipient of the Miami Dance Choreographer Award, Venezuela’s National Dance Prize, and has been nominated for both the Latin Grammy® and the Drama Desk Awards. Garrido has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, bringing a fresh, global perspective to an art form traditionally dominated by Spanish artists. She is also known for her collaborations with Gustavo Dudamel, who commissioned her to choreograph the full ballet El Amor Brujo with the LA Phil. As a Latina immigrant, Garrido has established herself as an innovative cultural figure, blending her Venezuelan roots with the deep traditions of flamenco to create works that resonate with audiences around the world. |
