Maroon 5 nunca había pisado un escenario en Marbella. La banda liderada por Adam Levine, que llega de agotar entradas en algunos de los recintos más grandes del planeta —del Madison Square Garden de Nueva York a los estadios que le esperan este año en Ciudad de México, Lima o Salvador de Bahía—, eligió Starlite Occident para vivir algo que ningún estadio puede ofrecer: la cercanía absolutacon su público, bajo las estrellas de la Cantera de Nagüeles.
Visiblemente emocionado por la respuesta del público, Adam Levine no dudó en dedicarle unas palabras al finalizar el concierto: “Es increíble venir desde tan lejos y sentir todo el cariño que nos habéis dado esta noche. Starlite es un lugar verdaderamente único. La energía, la cercanía del público y este entorno tan especial hacen que sea una experiencia difícil de describir. Con un repertorio que combinó himnos atemporales como “Sugar”, “She Will Be Loved”, “Moves Like Jagger” y “Girls Like You” con temas de su último álbum, Love Is Like, la banda ofreció un show en el que la distancia entre escenario y público se disolvió por completo, algo que solo el formato boutique de Starlite Occident permite.
Entre los asistentes destacó la presencia de la modelo internacional Behati Prinsloo, ángel de Victoria’s Secret y esposa de Adam Levine, que disfrutó del concierto desde el Palco Presidencial junto a sus hijas. La acompañaron, en una noche de complicidad, la fundadora de Starlite, Sandra García-Sanjuán, las hermanas Barbara y Nicole Kimpel, la artista y muralista mexicana Bibiana Domit, y la modelo Estefanía Luyk.
La noche también reunió a artistas entre el propio público. Los integrantes de Grupo Frontera, que apenas unas horas antes habían protagonizado su propio concierto sobre este mismo escenario, regresaron a Starlite Occident para disfrutar del show de Maroon 5 como un espectador más. “Ahora entendemos por qué tantos artistas quieren venir aquí. Starlite es único; queremos volver todos los años”, comentaron tras el concierto en la zona de fiesta de Starlite Occident, donde la banda prolongó la experiencia junto a amigos e invitados en una de esas madrugadas que reflejan el espíritu del festival: música, celebración y encuentros inesperados, confirmando una vez más que en Starlite Occident las mejores historias no siempre terminan cuando se apagan las luces del escenario.
Maroon 5 no es una banda cualquiera sobre la que Starlite Occident haya apostado: en 2025, Billboard la nombró la mejor banda del siglo XXI, con más de 750 millones de sencillos vendidos, certificaciones de la RIAA en más de 35 países y 33 canciones en el Billboard Hot 100. Su octavo álbum de estudio, Love Is Like, editado el año pasado, supone un regreso a sus raíces más artesanales, con colaboraciones como la de LISA, de BLACKPINK, en “Priceless”.
El paso de Maroon 5 por Starlite Occident confirma, una vez más, la filosofía con la que Sandra García-Sanjuán concibió el festival hace quince años: no ser el más grande, sino el más especial. En su XV aniversario, Starlite Occident continúa demostrando que hasta las bandas acostumbradas a llenar estadios encuentran en Marbella la noche más íntima de su carrera.

The band led by Adam Levine, fresh from selling out some of the largest venues in the world—from New York’s Madison Square Garden to the stadiums awaiting them this year in Mexico City, Lima, and Salvador de Bahia—chose Starlite Occident to experience something no stadium can offer: absolute closeness with its audiencebeneath the stars of the Nagüeles Quarry.

Members of Grupo Frontera, who had performed on the very same stage only hours earlier, returned to Starlite Occident to enjoy Maroon 5’s show as fans themselves. “Now we understand why so many artists want to come here. Starlite is unique; we want to come back every year,” they commented after the concert in the Starlite Occident party area, where the band extended the experience alongside friends and guests during one of those unforgettable late nights that perfectly capture the spirit of the festival: music, celebration, and unexpected encounters, confirming once again that at Starlite Occident, the best stories do not always end when the stage lights go out.
Maroon 5 is far from just another band that Starlite Occident has hosted. In 2025, Billboard named the group the greatest band of the 21st century, with more than 750 million singles sold, RIAA certifications in over 35 countries, and 33 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
