Miami, FL — 19 de septiembre de 2025 — La leyenda del rock en español, Fito Páez, recibió esta mañana dos nominaciones a los Latin GRAMMYs® 2025 por su obra musical NOVELA.
Páez se disputará el gramófono latino al Mejor Álbum de Rock, siendo esta la primera vez desde el 2007 que el cantante opta por una nominación en esta categoría. También, su tema “Sale el Sol” está nominado a la Mejor Canción de Rock.
NOVELA es la gran obra musical de Páez, la cual empezó a escribir en 1988 y culminó 36 años después, en 2024. Un álbum sin igual, donde el prolífico artista invita a los oyentes a adentrarse en un rebelde viaje musical y cinematográfico a través de la imaginación a un pueblo recóndito de la provincia de Santa Fe (Argentina). En 25 canciones, todas inéditas, el cantante se explaya en una historia extraordinaria con personajes originales de espíritu rebelde y apasionado.

El álbum fue compuesto por Fito Páez, producido por el propio intérprete junto a Gustavo Borner y Diego Olivero, y grabado entre los míticos estudios de Abbey Road en Londres y los estudios de Sony Music 5020 en Madrid. NOVELA es una obra de arte de infinitas dimensiones que no dejará a nadie indiferente.
La nominación llega dos días después del debut de Fito Páez en el Tiny Desk de NPR, uno de los espacios culturales más reconocidos en Estados Unidos, que, a 24 horas de su estreno, ya superaba el medio millón de reproducciones en YouTube. Mira la presentaciónaquí.
El polifacético artista presentó clásicos de su extenso repertorio, haciendo un viaje al pasado hasta los noventa para interpretar éxitos como “A rodar mi vida” y “Mariposa tecknicolor”. Luego, Fito hizo una reverencia a su más reciente obra maestra, NOVELA, con el sencillo “Sale El Sol” y finalizó con un espectacular medley de “Circo Beat” y “Tercer Mundo”.
La ceremonia de la 26.a Entrega Anual de los Latin GRAMMYs® se llevará a cabo el 13 de noviembre de 2025 en el MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas.

Miami, FL — September 19, 2025 — Spanish rock legend Fito Páez received two nominations this morning for the 2025 Latin GRAMMYs® for his musical work NOVELA.
Páez will compete for the Latin gramophone for ‘Best Rock Album’ and ‘Best Rock Song’ – “Sale el Sol,” marking the first time since 2007 that the singer has been nominated in this category.
NOVELA is Páez’s magnum opus, which he began writing in 1988 and completed 36 years later, in 2024. An unparalleled album, where the prolific artist invites listeners to embark on a rebellious musical and cinematic journey through the imagination to a remote village in the province of Santa Fe (Argentina). In 25 songs, all previously unreleased, the singer unfolds an extraordinary story with original characters with a rebellious and passionate spirit.
“In a world that only cares about nullifying imagination, implanting the gene of domesticity and poisoning the vitamins of rebellion, this is my new message in a bottle,” Páez shares about the production.
The album was written by Fito Páez, produced by the artist himself alongside Gustavo Borner and Diego Olivero, and recorded between the legendary Abbey Road studios in London and Sony Music’s 5020 studios in Madrid. NOVELA is a work of art with infinite dimensions that will leave no one indifferent.
