FACE CELEBRA CON GRAN ÉXITO SU 24º ALMUERZO ANUAL DE PREMIOS A LA EXCELENCIA EN CORAL GABLES

La edición de este año fue especialmente significativa al marcar el primer Almuerzo Anual de Premios a la Excelencia bajo la presidencia de Nelson Albareda, Presidente de la Junta Directiva de FACE y CEO de Loud And Live.

Facts About Cuban Exiles (FACE), la principal organización sin fines de lucro dedicada a preservar, proteger y celebrar el legado del exilio cubano y de la comunidad cubanoamericana, celebró con gran éxito su 24º Almuerzo Anual de Premios a la Excelencia en el Loews Coral Gables Hotel, congregando a destacadas figuras del ámbito cívico, empresarial, educativo, cultural y comunitario del sur de la Florida.

La edición de este año fue especialmente significativa al marcar el primer Almuerzo Anual de Premios a la Excelencia bajo la presidencia de Nelson Albareda, Presidente de la Junta Directiva de FACE. En el marco de la celebración de los 44 años de la organización, FACE reafirmó su compromiso de llevar su misión a otro nivel, abriendo sus puertas a nuevas generaciones de cubanoamericanos, estadounidenses de raíces cubanas y jóvenes profesionales de la próxima generación, con el propósito de asegurar que nuestras historias sean escuchadas, preservadas y nunca olvidadas.

El evento, que se ha consolidado como una de las citas más importantes de la comunidad cubanoamericana, fue magistralmente conducido por el reconocido presentador y personalidad radial Enrique Santos, quien aportó su carisma y energía a una jornada cargada de reconocimiento, orgullo y celebración.

Durante el almuerzo, FACE rindió homenaje a un grupo excepcional de líderes que representan la excelencia en sus respectivos campos:

Fernando Mendoza, galardonado con el Premio Especial, no pudo asistir al evento debido a compromisos profesionales previamente adquiridos; sin embargo, su familia estuvo presente para recibir el reconocimiento en su nombre, en un momento emotivo que destacó el orgullo y apoyo de sus seres queridos.

FACE Celebrates 44 Years of Legacy, Leadership, and Community Impact at its 24th Annual Excellence Awards Luncheon in Coral Gables

The event marked the first Annual Excellence Awards Luncheon under the leadership of Nelson Albareda (Chairman of the Board of FACE), and brought together influential leaders from the Cuban American community.

Facts About Cuban Exiles (FACE), the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and celebrating the legacy of Cuban exiles and the Cuban American community, successfully hosted its 24th Annual Excellence Awards Luncheon at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel. The event gathered distinguished figures from the civic, business, educational, cultural, and community sectors across South Florida.

This year’s edition was especially significant as it marked the first Annual Excellence Awards Luncheon under the chairmanship of Nelson Albareda, Chairman of the Board of FACE and CEO, Loud And Live. As the organization celebrates its 44th anniversary, FACE reaffirmed its commitment to elevating its mission by welcoming new generations of Cuban Americans, Americans of Cuban descent, and emerging young professionals—ensuring that their stories are heard, preserved, and never forgotten.

The event, now recognized as one of the most important gatherings within the Cuban American community, was masterfully hosted by renowned radio personality and presenter Enrique Santos, who brought charisma and energy to a day filled with recognition, pride, and celebration.

During the luncheon, FACE honored an exceptional group of leaders who represent excellence in their respective fields:

Fernando Mendoza, recipient of the Special Award, was unable to attend due to prior professional commitments; however, his family accepted the honor on his behalf in a heartfelt moment that highlighted their pride and support.

One of the most moving moments of the event was the presentation of the Valor Award to the Brigade 2506 Veterans Association, in recognition of their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to freedom.
