Carmen Villalobos regresa a los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2026 como presentadora

Miami, FL — La reconocida actriz y presentadora colombiana, Carmen Villalobos, regresa a los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina como una de sus presentadoras principales.

La actriz y presentadora debutó en la conducción de estos premios en 2024 y actualmente presenta la quinta temporada de Top Chef VIPen Telemundo.

Villalobos estará al frente de la ceremonia, junto a Javier Posa, que se transmitirá en vivo desde el James L. Knight Center de Miamiel jueves 22 de octubre a las 8 p. m. (hora del Este), por Telemundo y Peacock. La premiación llegará a más de 22 países de Latinoamérica y el Caribe a través de Telemundo Internacional.

Su trayectoria como conductora principal de ceremonias de premios se remonta a 2017, cuando se estrenó como presentadora a los Premios Tu Mundo, también para Telemundo.  

Gracias a su carisma, frescura y conexión con el público, Carmen se consolidó como anfitriona de ceremonias como los Premios TV y Novelas en su natal Colombia, y los Premios Tu Música Urbanoen Puerto Rico, donde fue la presentadora oficial en tres ediciones (2019, 2020 y 2022).  

Villalobos continúa imparable en este 2026: desde inicios de agosto acompaña cada noche, a través de Telemundo, a los miles de televidentes que sintonizan Top Chef VIP, la competencia culinaria más exigente de la televisión hispana en Estados Unidos.

Su estilo cercano ha cautivado al público de Top Chef VIP y ha generado una conexión y complicidad que la ha mantenido frente al reality de Telemundo durante sus cinco temporadas.

Con su regreso a los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina, Carmen suma un nuevo logro a un año que la ha visto alzar dos premios India Catalina: a la Mejor Actriz Protagonista y a Actriz Favorita del Público, por su papel de Sonia en “La Huesped” de Netflix y CMO Studios. Además, fue incluida nuevamente en la lista “Los 50 Más Bellos” de People en Español, en la categoría de series y novelas.  

Por si fuera poco, la actriz seguirá en la pantalla en Telemundodurante el resto de 2026. A inicios de septiembre, la cadena anunció que “Sin senos sí hay paraíso”, una de sus franquicias más exitosas, regresará en noviembre con la cuarta entrega de la saga.

Tras siete años de pausa, Villalobos regresa con su icónico personaje, Catalina Santana, quien investiga una red de trata que opera bajo el liderazgo de Israel Montero y del submundo del webcamming en Medellín, Colombia.

Sumándose a un año espectacular, Carmen Villalobos protagoniza la portada de la revista ¡HOLA! en sus ediciones de Colombia y de Estados Unidos. RETURNS TO THE 2026 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS AS HOST

Miami, FL — Acclaimed Colombian actress and TV host Carmen Villalobos is returning as one of the official hosts of the Billboard Latin Music Awards.

The host and actress made her hosting debut on the awards show in 2024 and currently hosts the fifth season of Top Chef VIP on Telemundo.

Villalobos will lead the ceremony alongside Javier Posa, which will air live from Miami’s James L. Knight Center on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. ET on Telemundo and Peacock. The show will also reach audiences in more than 22 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean via Telemundo Internacional.

Her run as a lead awards-show host dates back to 2017, when she first took the stage as host of Premios Tu Mundo, also on Telemundo.

With her charisma, fresh energy, and natural rapport with audiences, Villalobos went on to host other major awards ceremonies, including Premios TV y Novelas in her native Colombia and Premios Tu Música Urbano in Puerto Rico, where she served as official host in 2019, 2020, and 2022.

Villalobos is unstoppable in 2026. Since early August, she has been keeping viewers company every night on Telemundo as host of Top Chef VIP, the toughest cooking competition on Spanish-language television in the U.S.

Her warm, down-to-earth style has won over Top Chef VIPaudiences and built a bond that has kept her at the helm of the Telemundo reality competition for all five seasons.

Her return to the Billboard Latin Music Awards adds to a banner year for Villalobos, who took home two India Catalina Awards — Best Leading Actress and Audience Favorite Actress — for her role as Sonia in the Netflix and CMO Studios series “La Huésped.” She was also named once again to People en Español’s“Los 50 Más Bellos” (50 Most Beautiful) list in the series and telenovelas category.

Villalobos will also stay on Telemundo screens through the rest of 2026. In early September, the network announced that “Sin senos sí hay paraíso,” one of its most successful franchises, will return in November with a fourth installment.

After a seven-year hiatus, Villalobos reprises her iconic role as Catalina Santana, who this time investigates a human trafficking ring led by Israel Montero and dives into Medellín, Colombia’s webcamming underworld.
