Febrero 7 de 2026 —– Justo a tiempo para el día de San Valentín, The Warning, el trío de rock originario de Monterrey, México, se une al multipremiado ícono del regional mexicano Carín León y presentan su nuevo sencillo y vídeo musical en colaboración “Love To Be Loved”, disponible desde hoy y lanzado por LAVA/Republic Records.

Las hermanas Villarreal Vélez (Daniela, Paulina y Alejandra) integrantes The Warning, coescribieron el tema junto al gran vocalista y superestrella Teddy Swims, además de Rob Grimaldi, Anton DeLost, Boy Matthews y Neil Ormandy. La banda también trabajó con los productores Grimaldi y DeLost para dar vida a la canción. Rompiendo esquemas, este lanzamiento marca la primera colaboración de Carín León interpretada completamente en inglés.

“Love To Be Loved” derriba las barreras de los géneros y propone un punto de encuentro entre dos fuerzas musicales distintas. Carín marca el tono del tema con un verso cargado de emoción, espíritu y alma. Su sentida interpretación se mueve entre la crudeza de los acordes distorsionados y el ritmo contundente de The Warning. Impulsada por riffs pesados y una base rítmica digna de la escala Richter, la vocalista y guitarrista Dany Villarreal lidera un coro irresistible y muy cantable:
“I just need love to be loved, to be loved, to be loved—by you.”
Luego de su reciente triunfo en los GRAMMY esta semana, Carín comparte: “Estoy encantado y muy feliz con esta colaboración junto a estas grandes artistas, como son The Warning, una banda que admiro profundamente y que me reafirma que la música mexicana y el rock mexicano no han muerto, sino que siguen presentes y más fuertes que nunca” “Me siento honrado de poder colaborar al lado de artistas con proyectos tan importantes para la música y la cultura mexicanas y de lanzar este gran tema juntos. Con una estética cinematográfica, el vídeo musical muestra a Carín y a las chicas de The Warning refugiados en un bar de mala muerte, entre tensas partidas de cartas, juegos en máquinas tragamonedas y rondas de billar y dardos. Aún cuando no dejan de ganar, nada de eso importa. Detrás de esa fachada, lo único que realmente buscan es amor. Finalmente suben al escenario y ofrecen al público reunido en la pista de baile, un irrepetible dueto de karaoke.
Este fin de semana, la banda estará presente durante el Super Bowl, como invitadas especiales de la NFL México.
Todo esto prepara el terreno para muchas cosas más que vendrán en 2026 de la mano de The Warning.
Cerrando un año 2025 de crecimiento acelerado a nivel global, la banda participó recientemente en el Grammy Celebration of Latin Music, transmitido por CBS y disponible en Paramount+. The Warning compartió escenario con Billy Idol y el guitarrista Steve Stevens para un explosivo medley de “La Bamba” y “Twist and Shout”. El medio Consequence lo calificó como “uno de los momentos más pesados de la noche”.
Previamente, lanzaron su nuevo álbum en vivo y su primer filme de concierto, Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX, grabado frente a un aforo completo de 30 mil personas.

Después de abrir varios conciertos de la cantante y compositora Halsey en fechas de su gira estadounidense For My Last Trick en 2025, The Warning estará nuevamente de gira, presentándose en Lollapalooza y otros festivales en Latinoamérica, además de acompañar a Yungblud en su gira IDOLS por el Reino Unido y Estados Unidos a finales de este año.

THE WARNING MAKE SUPER BOWL APPEARANCE WITH NFL MEXICO ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8TH
Miami, FL. February 7, 2026 — – Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the rock sister-trio from Monterrey, Mexico, The Warning team up with award-winning regional Mexican superstar Carín León on a brand new collaborative single and music video entitled “Love To Be Loved” out now via LAVA/Republic Records. The Warning notably co-wrote the track alongside vocal powerhouse and superstar artist Teddy Swims, Rob Grimaldi, Anton DeLost, Boy Matthews, and Neil Ormandy. Meanwhile, the band worked with producers Grimaldi and DeLost to bring the song to life. Breaking the mold, it notably marks Carín’s first-ever collaborative release sung entirely in English.
“We are so excited about this song. As a rock band, this is something completely different for us and a chance to explore new sounds,” The Warning shares. “Originally co-written with Teddy Swims, the song naturally blends country, rock, and pop in a way that felt fresh and inspiring from the start. Blending musical worlds is always exciting, and working with our fellow Mexican artist Carín León made the experience even more special. It’s a collaboration that pushed us creatively and shows a new side of The Warning.”
“Love To Be Loved” tears down genre walls, finding common ground between these two distinct forces. Carín sets the tone for the track, delivering an emotionally charged verse with spirit and soul. His heartbroken delivery rests uneasily between the crunch of distorted power chords and a thick rhythm from The Warning. Boosted by heavy riffing and a Richter Scale-worthy rhythm, vocalist and guitarist Dany Villarreal carries the chantable chorus, “I just need love to be loved, to be loved, to be loved—by you.”
Fresh off his GRAMMY win this week, Carín shares: “I’m truly happy and excited about this collaboration with these amazing artists, The Warning, a band I deeply admire that reaffirms to me that Mexican music and Mexican rock are far from dead—they’re more present and stronger than ever. I’m also really grateful to collaborate alongside artists with such important projects for Mexican music and culture, and to be able to release this great song together. The accompanying cinematic visual finds Carín and the girls holed up in a gritty dive bar. Amid tense card games, slot machines, and rounds of pool and darts, they keep winning…but none of it matters. Beneath the bravado, all they’re really searching for is love. Eventually, they take the stage and deliver a once-in-a-lifetime karaoke duet for the crowd gathered on the dancefloor of this dive.
This weekend, the group will be present during the Super Bowl on Sunday February 8 as the NFL Mexico special guests.
Most importantly, everything sets the stage for more to come in 2026 from The Warning.
