After a successful world premiere in Miami last November, Siudy Garrido’s Bailaora – within me, within you returns by popular demand!

Award-winning choreographer and dancer Siudy Garrido is recognized for her contemporary work in flamenco. Her company has collaborated with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and flamenco stars Farruquito and Antonio Canales.

Bailaora – within me, within you traces the evolution of flamenco from a New World perspective. The music in Bailaora pairs traditional flamenco instrumentation with synthesized sounds. The narrative takes an emotional journey through dance that results in a humanist and feminist commentary on self-invention and self-determination, revealing the vulnerability and inner strength of a warrior whose only voice is her art.
