Pandora recibirá el Premio A La Excelencia Musical por parte de la Academia Latina De La Grabación

Miami, FL. – 9 de agosto de 2025 – El trío latino femenino más grande de la historia, Pandora, recibirá el Premio a la Excelencia Musical 2025 de La Academia Latina de la Grabación® durante la entrega anual de los Premios Especiales, realizada en el marco de la Semana Latin GRAMMY®.

Pandora se une a una prestigiosa lista de íconos y leyendas de la música latina al ser reconocida con uno de los más altos honores conferidos por La Academia Latina de la Grabación. El Premio a la Excelencia Musical se otorga a agrupaciones e intérpretes que, durante su carrera artística, hayan “hecho contribuciones creativas de sobresaliente valor artístico a la música latina y sus comunidades”, según La Academia.

La agrupación recibirá el Latin GRAMMY a la Excelencia Musical el próximo 9 de noviembre de 2025, durante un evento privado en Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pandora, integrada por las hermanas Isabel y Mayte Lascurain, y María Fernanda Meade, es el trío femenino más grande en la historia de la música latina. En 1985, la agrupación transformó para siempre el pop latino con el lanzamiento de “Cómo te va mi amor”. 

El sencillo fue nominado en 1986 al GRAMMY® a la Mejor Interpretación de Pop Latino en la 29.ª Entrega Anual de los premios. Desde ese entonces, el trío ha dejado una huella imborrable en el pop latino y ha colaborado con leyendas de la música como Armando Manzanero, Frank Sinatra, Julie Andrews y Luis Miguel.

El galardón llega durante la celebración de las cuatro décadas de Pandora. Como parte de los festejos, la agrupación anunció también un nuevo álbum, Pandora 40, una recopilación de covers de las canciones que han marcado la historia del trío.

Además, Pandora continúa su extensa gira con la agrupación Flans, el Inesperado Tour, con fechas en México y Estados Unidos, incluyendo una presentación el 5 de septiembre en el James L. Knight Center de Miami. La gira continuará en 2026 con otras ciudades en Estados Unidos.

PANDORA TO RECEIVE THE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FROM THE LATIN RECORDING ACADEMY®

Miami, FL – August 9, 2025 – The most successful female Latin trio in history, Pandora, will receive the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award from The Latin Recording Academy®during the annual Special Awards Presentation, held as part of Latin GRAMMY® Week.

Pandora joins a prestigious list of Latin music icons and legends in receiving one of the highest honors bestowed by The Latin Recording Academy. The Lifetime Achievement Award is granted to performers and groups who, throughout their artistic careers, have “made creative contributions of outstanding artistic value to Latin music and its communities,” according to The Academy.

“We are deeply grateful for the recognition they are giving us for our 40-year career. This honor encapsulates all these years we’ve been working, because many times it doesn’t feel real until we have an award, a trophy that will remind us every day of our lives of the work we’ve done for so long. How wonderful that today they turn to look at us with this beautiful and well-deserved recognition for this trio—we are tireless, fighting women in the music industry! The group will receive the Latin GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award on November 9, 2025, during a private event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pandora, comprised of sisters Isabel and Mayte Lascurain and María Fernanda Meade, is the most successful female trio in Latin music history. In 1985, the group forever transformed Latin pop with the release of “Cómo Te Va Mi Amor.” 

The single earned a 1986 GRAMMY® nomination for Best Latin Pop Performance at the 29th Annual Awards ceremony. Since then, the trio has left an indelible mark on Latin pop and has collaborated with music legends including Armando Manzanero, Frank Sinatra, Julie Andrews, and Luis Miguel.

The award comes during Pandora’s four-decade milestone celebration. As part of the festivities, the group also announced a new album, Pandora 40, a compilation of covers of songs that have defined the trio’s legacy.

Additionally, Pandora continues its extensive tour with fellow group Flans, the Inesperado Tour, with dates across Mexico and the United States, including a performance on September 5 at Miami’s James L. Knight Center. The tour will continue in 2026 with other cities in the United States.
