Miami, FL (2 de abril de 2026) – La banda sonora de la nueva serie original de Disney+ y Hulu, ‘Dear Killer Nannies: Criado por Sicarios’, ya está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales. La serie narra la infancia y adolescencia de Juan Pablo Escobar desde una perspectiva íntima y profundamente humana contada por él mismo.
A través de sus recuerdos, conocemos la vida de “Juampi”, marcada por el contraste entre el lujo, los privilegios y el constante peligro. Criado bajo la protección de los sicarios de su padre, quienes, de manera irónica, también ejercían como sus “niñeras”, la historia revela la idealización de una figura paterna poderosa y amorosa, así como el doloroso proceso de descubrir la verdad detrás de ese legado. Más allá, la serie explora el impacto emocional de crecer en un entorno atravesado por la violencia, el poder y el silencio, retratando el conflicto interno de un niño que debe reconciliar el amor por su padre con la realidad de su historia.
El soundtrack, producido por el multipremiado Julio Reyes Copello, se inspira profundamente en la esencia sonora de los años 80. En una época marcada por el miedo y la incertidumbre en Colombia, la música y el baile se convirtieron en un refugio, momentos en los que, aunque fuera por unas horas, el país podía olvidar la oscuridad y sentirse libre.
Más que acompañar la narrativa de la serie, el álbum rescata la memoria emocional de una generación que encontró esperanza en las canciones que sonaban en medio del caos. El tracklist incluye 10 temas, entre ellos reinterpretaciones de clásicos icónicos como “El Baile de los Que Sobran” y “Tu Cárcel”, presentadas con una propuesta sonora contemporánea que conserva su carga nostálgica mientras conecta con nuevas audiencias.
El álbum cuenta con interpretaciones de reconocidos artistas como Morat, The Warning, Luciano Pereira, Ángela Leyva, Laura Pausini, Riza, Jhay P, Sebastián Yatra, TIMØ, Annasofia, Maura y Rata Blanca. La banda sonora fue desarrollada vía Universal Music Latino en colaboración con Julio Reyes Copello.

Miami, FL – The official soundtrack for the new Disney+ and Hulu original series ‘Dear Killer Nannies: Criado Por Sicarios’ is now available on all digital platforms. The series tells the story of Juan Pablo Escobar’s childhood and adolescence from an intimate and deeply human perspective, narrated by himself.
Through his memories, we are introduced to the life of “Juampi,” shaped by the contrast between luxury, privilege, and constant danger. Raised under the protection of his father’s hitmen, who, ironically, also acted as his “nannies,” the story reveals the idealization of a powerful and loving father figure, as well as the painful process of discovering the truth behind that legacy.
Beyond that, the series explores the emotional impact of growing up in an environment defined by violence, power, and silence, portraying the internal conflict of a child forced to reconcile his love for his father with the reality of his history.
The soundtrack, produced by the multi-award-winning Julio Reyes Copello, draws deeply from the sonic essence of the 1980s. During a time marked by fear and uncertainty in Colombia, music and dance became a refuge, moments where, even if only briefly, the country could forget the darkness and feel free.
More than simply accompanying the series’ narrative, the album captures the emotional memory of a generation that found hope in the songs that played amid the chaos.
