Este reconocimiento reafirma a Niche no solo como un referente histórico, sino como una fuerza viva que sigue marcando la pauta y defendiendo con orgullo el lugar de la salsa colombiana en la escena mundial.
Fundado en 1979 en Bogotá por el maestro Jairo Varela, Grupo Niche no es únicamente una orquesta: es un símbolo universal de identidad, sabor y excelencia musical, considerado por muchos como la agrupación más importante en la historia de la salsa colombiana.
