Grupo Manía celebrates 31 years with their new album: Mundialmente Manía 13.13.13
DUSTELLI MUSIC – Grupo Manía, founded in 1993 by Héctor “Banchy” Serrano, is one of the most iconic Puerto Rican merengue groups. Over the course of three decades, they have earned numerous accolades, including a GRAMMY® Award for Best Merengue Album (2003), several Premios Lo Nuestro, and Gold, Platinum, and Double Platinum records.
With a solid discography of more than 20 productions, they have toured internationally across Latin America, Europe, and the United States, solidifying their presence as ambassadors of modern merengue.
In 2024, celebrating 31 years of their career, Grupo Manía returned stronger than ever, blending their unmistakable style with renewed energy. Mundialmente Manía 13.13.13 is a celebration of their history, evolution, and the power of merengue.
The album includes the hit single Mi Son as well as major collaborations with artists such as Mala Fe (El Tra Tra), Melina León (No Te Vayas Madre Mía), Jandy Ventura (Vive la Vida), and RKM (Tu Grupo Favorito).
Currently, the group is composed of Héctor “Banchy” Serrano, Alfred Cotto, and Daniel Serrano. Grupo Manía continues to thrive and innovate, solidifying their place as one of the defining forces in tropical music.
