Fito Páez recibe el Premio Konex de Platino como Compositor De La Década

MIAMI, FL — 08 de Octubre de 2025 — La leyenda del rock en español, Fito Páez, continúa demostrando su poder y permanencia en la industria musical. El pasado viernes, 26 de septiembre, el intérprete recibió el Premio Konex de Platino como Mejor Autor/Compositor de la última década, otorgado por la Fundación Konex en Argentina.
Esta es la segunda vez que Páez recibe el Konex de Platino. La primera fue en 1995. Además, el multifacético artista fue reconocido con el Diploma al Mérito de Autor/Compositor.
Por otro lado, la Universidad Nacional de Rosario en Argentina reconocerá los más de 40 años de carrera artística de Páez otorgándole un Doctorado Honoris Causa, el máximo galardón que entrega una institución universitaria pública en su país. La fecha para el homenaje será dada a conocer próximamente.
Los reconocimientos llegan a pocos días del debut del once veces ganador del Latin GRAMMY® en el Tiny Desk de la cadena NPR, uno de los espacios culturales más prestigiosos de Estados Unidos

El legendario cantautor y polifacético artista deleitó a la audiencia de NPR con clásicos de su extenso repertorio, haciendo un viaje al pasado hasta los noventa para interpretar éxitos como “A rodar mi vida” y “Mariposa tecknicolor”. Luego, Fito hizo una reverencia a su más reciente obra maestra, NOVELA, con el sencillo “Sale El Sol” y finalizó con un espectacular medley de “Circo Beat” y “Tercer Mundo”.
Lanzada en marzo de 2025, NOVELA es la gran obra musical de Páez, actualmente nominada al Latin GRAMMY® al Mejor Álbum de Rock y Mejor Canción de Rock por “Sale el Sol”.
La historia para NOVELA se comenzó a escribir en 1988 y culminó 36 años después, en 2024. Un álbum sin igual, donde el prolífico artista invita a los oyentes a adentrarse en un rebelde viaje musical y cinematográfico a través de la imaginación a un pueblo recóndito de la provincia de Santa Fe (Argentina). En 25 canciones, todas inéditas, el cantante se explaya en una historia extraordinaria con personajes originales de espíritu rebelde y apasionado.
El álbum fue compuesto por Fito Páez, producido por el propio intérprete junto a Gustavo Borner y Diego Olivero, y grabado entre los míticos estudios de Abbey Road en Londres y los estudios de Sony Music 5020 en Madrid. NOVELA es una obra de arte de infinitas dimensiones que no dejará a nadie indiferente.
El álbum fue descrito por la revista Rolling Stone como “una obra compleja compuesta por 25 pistas; Novela definitivamente será recordada como uno de los álbumes más fascinantes del cantante”, mientras que GRAMMY.com lo denomina “una experiencia de escucha inmersiva que muestra la incomparable habilidad narrativa de Páez”.
La ceremonia de la 26.a Entrega Anual de los Latin GRAMMYs® se llevará a cabo el 13 de noviembre de 2025 en el MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas.

ICONIC ARTIST WILL ALSO RECEIVE HONORARY DOCTORATE FROM UNIVERSIDAD DE ROSARIO
MIAMI, FL — October 8, 2025 — Spanish-language rock legend Fito Páez continues to demonstrate his power and lasting presence in the music industry. Last Friday, September 26, the artist received the Premio Konex de Platino as Best Author/Composer of the past decade, awarded by the Fundación Konex in Argentina.
This is the second time Páez has received the Konex de Platino.The first was in 1995. Additionally, the multifaceted artist was honored with the Diploma al Mérito de Autor/Compositor.
Furthermore, the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in Argentina will recognize Páez’s more than 40-year artistic career by granting him an Honorary Doctorate (Honoris Causa), the highest honor bestowed by a public university in the country. The ceremony date will be announced soon.
These accolades come just days after the eleven-time Latin GRAMMY® winner’s debut on NPR’s Tiny Desk, one of the most prestigious cultural platforms in the United States.

The legendary singer-songwriter delighted NPR’s audience with classics from his extensive repertoire, taking a trip back to the nineties to perform hits like “A rodar mi vida” and “Mariposa tecknicolor.” Fito then paid homage to his latest masterpiece, NOVELA, with the single “Sale El Sol” and closed with a spectacular medley of “Circo Beat” and “Tercer Mundo.”
