Este proyecto —su sexto álbum como solista— fue compuesto íntegramente por Meier, reafirmando una constante en su trayectoria: canciones creadas siempre desde su propia voz y visión.
Producido en Los Ángeles por el reconocido Gustavo Borner —ganador de numerosos premios por su trabajo con artistas como Andrés Calamaro y Fito Páez— el álbum fue grabado junto a músicos de trayectoria internacional que han colaborado con Elton John, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Celine Dion y Lady Gaga, apostando por un sonido orgánico y directo que privilegia la interpretación real y la esencia del rock. Meier asumió además la voz y los teclados, involucrándose en cada decisión creativa del proyecto.
El álbum abre con “Así Es La Ley”, tema que da nombre al proyecto y se convierte en su carta de presentación. Con una melodía potente y una letra que reflexiona sobre el poder y sus contradicciones —“donde está hecha la ley, está hecha la trampa”— la canción marca la pauta de lo que viene a continuación: un proyecto sin filtros ni restricciones, explorando la esencia más auténtica y personal del artista.

El disco reúne nueve canciones —cuatro sencillos lanzados desde 2025 y cinco temas inéditos— que fueron pensadas para escucharse como un todo, construyendo una experiencia que se despliega de inicio a fin. Cada tema desarrolla su propia identidad y matiz, pero todos giran en torno al universo del rock —desde la balada hasta el pop rock con influencias folk y soul—, reflejando las influencias más presentes en la vida del artista. Entre las inéditas destaca Puerto de Palos, escrita por Meier para Pedro Suárez Vértiz, que narra de manera muy personal los inicios de sus carreras musicales.
El proyecto llega acompañado de una propuesta audiovisual de cinco capítulos, pensados como una obra continua donde cada pieza comienza donde termina la anterior. Todos los capítulos fueron dirigidos por Christian Meier y filmados en una sola toma, destacando la precisión y cuidado de una producción impecable. Con el estreno del álbum, se presenta el quinto capítulo, “Así Es La Ley”, ya disponible en YouTube, completando este cortometraje conceptual que profundiza y expande el universo creativo del álbum.
El lanzamiento marca también el inicio de una gira internacional, que arranca el 12 de marzo en el Gran Teatro Nacional de Lima con dos fechas completamente agotadas. El tour continuará por las principales ciudades del Perú, y próximamente se anunciarán las fechas internacionales.

Produced in Los Angeles by the renowned Gustavo Borner —a multiple award winner for his work with artists such as Andrés Calamaro and Fito Páez— the album was recorded alongside internationally acclaimed musicians who have collaborated with Elton John, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Celine Dion, and Lady Gaga, aiming for an organic and direct sound that prioritizes real performance and the essence of rock. Meier also handled vocals and keyboards, taking part in every creative decision throughout the project.
The album opens with “Así Es La Ley,” the track that gives the project its title and serves as its introduction. “When I finished ‘Así Es La Ley,’ I knew that phrase contained the entire meaning of the album,” says Christian Meier. “It speaks about those unwritten rules that we often accept without questioning. I felt it was the right moment to make an album with character, one that truly represents who I am today.”

The record brings together nine songs —four singles released since 2025 and five previously unreleased tracks— conceived to be experienced as a complete body of work, unfolding from beginning to end. Each song develops its own identity and nuance, yet they all revolve around the universe of rock —from ballads to pop-rock with folk and soul influences— reflecting the musical inspirations most present in the artist’s life. Among the unreleased tracks, Puerto de Palos stands out, written by Meier for Pedro Suárez Vértiz, offering a deeply personal narrative about the beginnings of their musical careers.
The project is also accompanied by a five-chapter audiovisual concept, designed as a continuous piece where each chapter begins exactly where the previous one ends. All chapters were directed by Christian Meier and filmed in a single take, highlighting the precision and care behind the production. With the album’s release, the fifth chapter, “Así Es La Ley,” premieres on YouTube, completing this conceptual short film that expands and deepens the album’s creative universe.
The release also marks the beginning of an international tour, kicking off on March 12 at the Gran Teatro Nacional in Lima with two completely sold-out shows. The tour will continue across the main cities of Peru, with international dates to be announced soon.
