Carlos Rivera celebra dos nominaciones a Premio Lo Nuestro
Miami, Florida. Enero 17 de 2026. — El líder de la canción romántica en México, Carlos Rivera, recibió esta mañana dos nominaciones a la 38.ª Entrega Anual del Premio Lo Nuestro, dio a conocer Univisión.
El intérprete se disputa los legendarios premios en las categorías: Canción del Año – Pop/Balada por “Alguien” y Álbum del Año – Pop por ¿Qué Significa el Amor?.
Lanzado en septiembre de 2025, “Alguien” rinde tributo a las raíces de la música mexicana. Coescrita por Carlos Rivera con Luis Mejíae Iván Gámez, la que combina acordes al compás del mariachi con sutiles matices melódicos que se han convertido en un sello distintivo de su estilo. Este tema entrelaza tragedia, ficción y realidad para narrar la historia de un amor no correspondido. La fuerza de la música mexicana marca el tono de la pieza, reforzando su carácter apasionado.
Por su parte, en su octavo álbum de estudio, ¿Qué Significa el Amor?, el intérprete hace un viaje emocional a través de diez canciones que abordan las facetas del amor: desde la pérdida, pasando por la esperanza, hasta el renacimiento, y que encuentran en lo visual un nuevo lenguaje para ser interpretadas.
Las nominaciones marcan un regreso triunfal para el cantante, quien en 2025 se consagró como Artista Pop Masculino del Año en Premio Lo Nuestro. A lo largo de su carrera, Rivera suma dos victorias en estos premios: Canción Mariachi/Ranchera del Año en 2022 por “100 Años”, junto a Maluma y Calibre 50, y Artista Pop Masculino del Año en 2025.

Meanwhile, on his eighth studio album, ¿Qué Significa el Amor?, the singer embarks on an emotional journey through 10 songs that explore love’s many facets—from loss and hope to rebirth—finding new meaning through visual storytelling.
The nominations signal a triumphant return for Rivera, who took home Male Pop Artist of the Year at Premio Lo Nuestro 2025. To date, Carlos Rivera has taken home two awards at this ceremony: Regional Mexican Song of the Year (Mariachi/Ranchera) in 2022 for “100 Años” with Maluma and Calibre 50, and Male Pop Artist of the Year in 2025.
