EL PROGRAMA, EN ALIANZA CON LA INICIATIVA BEYOND THE INSTRUMENT DE SONY MUSIC GROUP, EXPANDE EL ACCESO A LA EDUCACIÓN MUSICAL E INCLUYE UNA DONACIÓN DE INSTRUMENTOS Y PRESENTACIONES MUSICALES DE LOS ESTUDIANTES
PANAMÁ (30 DE ENERO DE 2026) — La Fundación Cultural Latin GRAMMY®, en asociación con la iniciativa Beyond The Instrument de Sony Music Group y el artista nominado al Latin GRAMMY®, Boza, llevó a cabo Latin GRAMMY En Las Escuelas™, una experiencia educativa que incluyó una donación de instrumentos musicales a la escuela secundaria Instituto Rubiano en San Miguelito, Panamá. El programa —la primera colaboración con Sony Music Centroamérica y el Caribe— incluyó presentaciones musicales de los estudiantes y una sesión de preguntas y respuestas con el artista, moderada por la reconocida periodista Leonor Suárez.
El Instituto Rubiano es una de las principales instituciones educativas públicas de Panamá que atiende a aproximadamente 4.000 alumnos en dos jornadas. Reconocido por su compromiso con el desarrollo integral, el instituto promueve una educación basada en valores, el trabajo en equipo y el compromiso comunitario para orientar a los jóvenes hacia un futuro positivo. Ofrece títulos de bachillerato en Ciencias, Humanidades e Informática, y toda su comunidad escolar (profesores, padres, alumnos y personal administrativo) colabora para brindar una educación de alta calidad, con el objetivo de ser un referente nacional en excelencia científica, humanística y tecnológica. La inversión de la Fundación Cultural Latin GRAMMY y la iniciativa Beyond The Instrument de Sony Music Group permitirán al Instituto Rubiano fortalecer aún más sus programas musicales al financiar nuevos instrumentos y equipos, ofreciendo mayores oportunidades para que los estudiantes exploren y desarrollen su interés por la música como parte de su trayectoria académica.

Latin GRAMMY En Las Escuelas es un programa educativo que brinda información y conecta a estudiantes de música con profesionales de la industria musical latina, además de apoyar a los departamentos de música de instituciones educativas a nivel mundial con recursos limitados. La Fundación invita a artistas reconocidos, músicos profesionales e ingenieros de sonido a visitar escuelas intermedias y secundarias, universidades o instituciones de música para compartir sus historias y experiencias personales con los estudiantes, destacando el esfuerzo necesario para superar obstáculos profesionales. El objetivo es que los estudiantes saquen provecho de las oportunidades educativas que se les presenten, lo que les dará una ventaja y una sólida preparación académica para competir en la industria musical.

BENEFITING THE HIGH SCHOOL INSTITUTO RUBIANO IN SAN MIGUELITO, PANAMA
PANAMA (JANUARY 30, 2026) — The Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation®, in partnership with Sony Music Group’s Beyond The Instrument Initiative and Latin GRAMMY®-nominated artist Boza, hosted Latin GRAMMY In The Schools™, an educational experience that included a donation of musical instruments to the high school Instituto Rubiano in San Miguelito, Panama. The program—and first collaboration with Sony Music Central America and the Caribbean—included musical performances by the students and a Q&A session with the artist, moderated by renowned journalist Leonor Suárez.
Instituto Rubiano is one of Panama’s leading public educational institutions, serving approximately 4,000 students across two shifts. Recognized for its commitment to holistic development, the school emphasizes value-based learning, teamwork and community engagement to help guide young people toward positive futures. It offers high school diplomas in Science, Humanities and Computer Science, and its entire community—teachers, parents, students, and administrative staff—partners to deliver a high-quality education with the goal of becoming a national model in scientific, humanistic and technological excellence. The Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation’s and Sony Music Group’s Beyond the Instrument Initiative’s investment will further strengthen Instituto Rubiano’s music offerings by funding new instruments and equipment, creating greater opportunities for students to explore and pursue music as part of their academic journey.

Latin GRAMMY In The Schools is an educational program that informs and connects music students with professionals in the Latin music industry, supporting educational music departments that face financial limitations around the world.
